New Paint Brushes are the Best!

I have a bunch of new paint brushes and am so excited! There's nothing like using a brand new brush for the first time. I have to admit... cleaning brushes is not my forte and I have ruined quite a few because of my bad habits. For all you painters out there - any suggestions, tips, or tricks about how to keep brushes looking like new? I'd love to hear!
